Message from the President and Director
We would like to welcome you to the Woolley Institute for Spoken-Language Education (WISE)! For over a decade we have offered a tuition free program where deaf and hard of hearing children have learned to listen and speak. Many children have learned their first words at WISE and are now thriving in their neighborhood schools as confident, communicative individuals. WISE is a community where strong foundations are built and children develop a love of learning that will last a lifetime. Typical peers serve as language models in our classrooms and benefit from the language and literacy intensive environment.
Through generous contributions from public and private entities, WISE has experienced tremendous growth over the past several years. We are now reaching families across the state. We are excited about new WISE programs and the opportunities they provide for children and their families.
We invite you to learn about WISE through exploring our Website and visiting us in person to see what makes WISE such a unique place.
We are excited to have you join the WISE community.
